Conger LP Gas Installs Propane Fueling Station At Andersonville National Historic Site
Published on June 28, 2018
Andersonville National Historic Site, which is home to Andersonville National Cemetery, the former Camp Sumter military prison, and the National Prisoner of War Museum, made a commitment to using alternatively fueled lawn mowers several years ago. With the help of Conger LP Gas they were able to realize that goal by installing a propane fueling station to fill their propane lawn mowers and service vehicle. Conger LP Gas worked with Andersonville for over a year on the project that will help their service personnel maintain the 514-acre property.
According to their website by the National Park Service, “Andersonville National Historic Site is a memorial to all American prisoners of war throughout the nation’s history.”
