Georgia Governor Brian Kemp signed HB 512 into law today at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College in Tifton. This bill creates an Agricultural Commodity Commission for Propane. Conger LP Gas President/CEO Dan Richardson along with Mike Davis of Davis Propane, Mark Holloway of Modern Gas, and other members of the Georgia Propane Gas Association, worked very hard to lobby for the passage of this bill and were honored to be by Governor Kemp’s side as he signed it into legislation. Conger LP Gas would like to thank Rep. Sam Watson, lead sponsor of the bill, for his hard work. Rep. Clay Pirkle, Sen. Greg Kirk, and Sen Tyler Harper for their support. Rep. Penny Houston was unable to attend but was also instrumental in the passage of HB 512.
